Kano Governor Salutes Kwankwaso at 68

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has extended warm birthday wishes to Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) during the 2023 general elections, as he marks his 68th birthday.

In a statement released on Monday by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature, Governor Yusuf praised Kwankwaso’s leadership qualities and political influence that resonate throughout Nigeria. He referred to Kwankwaso as a mentor who has nurtured countless leaders across various fields.

“In the 38 years I’ve known you, I’ve learned invaluable lessons and experiences. You embody honesty, dedication, and service to the people,” the governor said. He acknowledged Kwankwaso’s significant impact on communities and his role in fostering quality leadership, calling him an “undisputed force in Nigeria’s politics.”

Governor Yusuf highlighted Kwankwaso’s extensive political career, which includes roles such as Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Governor of Kano State, Minister of Defence, Special Envoy to Darfur and Somalia, Senator, and presidential candidate for the NNPP.

On behalf of his family, government, and the people of Kano State, Yusuf wished Kwankwaso many more years of service to humanity both in Nigeria and beyond.
