Toolz Responds to Pastor Tobi Adegboyega’s Deportation Saga: “I Refuse to Call Him a Pastor”

-

Media personality Toolz Oniru has voiced her disapproval of Pastor Tobi Adegboyega following his deportation from the UK over allegations of financial misconduct. The founder of SPAC Nation, who has been accused of misusing £1.87 million of church funds, lost his legal battle and was ordered to return to Nigeria. He had been living unlawfully in the UK since overstaying his visitor’s visa in 2005.

Toolz expressed her frustration on social media, saying, “John Boyega never claimed this fellow (I refuse to say Pastor) and see how his name has been dragged into this mess. Poor guy.” She criticized how the clergyman’s actions had impacted his famous nephew, actor John Boyega, who had distanced himself from Adegboyega.

The controversy surrounding Pastor Tobi has sparked criticism across social media, with public figures such as Solomon Buchi and Ossai Ovie Success also condemning his actions. Pastor Tobi has previously been involved in other scandals, including a lawsuit filed by footballer Kayode Olanrewaju, and his extravagant lifestyle has been questioned by critics who feel it undermines the pastoral role.

Pastor Tobi responded to the backlash in an Instagram video, assuring his supporters that he had overcome various challenges and urged Nigerians to remain proud of him. However, his actions continue to stir public controversy.
