Nigerian music stars Rema, Tems, and Ayra Starr have earned spots on Rolling Stone’s prestigious list of the top 100 albums of 2024.
Rema’s second studio album, Heis, claimed the 11th spot, praised for its “unique, buzzy, and visceral” sound. Tems’ album, Born in the Wild, was ranked 37th, noted for its “physical and emotional listening experience.” Ayra Starr’s The Year I Turned 21 secured the 53rd position, recognized for showcasing her musical maturity and passion.
This achievement follows a similar honor in 2022 when Asake’s debut album, Mr Money, made the list.
