Plateau United’s technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut, is determined to build on his team’s recent victory over Nasarawa United as they prepare for their next Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) fixture against Akwa United.
The Peace Boys secured a 2-0 win over Nasarawa United in Jos on Sunday. Mangut emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum as they travel to Uyo for the upcoming match against Akwa United.
“For us to be comfortable in our position on the log, we need to get points as quickly as possible,” Mangut said in an interview with Plateau United’s media. “We will take on Akwa United as it comes first, because without fans, there is no football. The fans add a lot to the game.”
Plateau United will be looking to extend their good form and secure another three points in Uyo.
