Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan has expressed his gratitude to friends, family, and well-wishers for their support during the difficult time of his mother’s passing. In an emotional post, Aremu shared a photo from his mother’s burial, thanking everyone who reached out with calls, visits, and prayers.
He acknowledged the overwhelming love he received but expressed regret for not being able to respond individually due to the sheer number of messages. “This is my face of gratitude for all your calls, visits, and support, plus prayers on my mother’s death. A o Ni Fi iru re San fun Ra was o. I wish I could reply each and everyone individually but that’s practically impossible. Please accept this collective one. I love you, thank you.”
Aremu’s message comes amid his reconciliation with his elder brother, Kunle Afolayan. The brothers had been estranged for years but officially put their differences aside at their mother’s wake, with Aremu offering an apology and acknowledging Kunle’s efforts in caring for their late mother.
The reconciliation was celebrated by actor Muyiwa Ademola, who praised the brothers for mending their relationship and for honoring their mother’s memory by coming together.
