Social media users have been quick to respond to a recent court order issued by an Abuja court, which restrains On Air Personality Oladotun Ojuolape, known as Do2dtun, from making defamatory posts about singer D’banj.
The Chief District Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja, located in Wuse Zone 2, issued the order that prohibits Do2dtun from posting defamatory statements against D’banj on social media or any other platform. Additionally, the court instructed the Deputy Inspector of Police, Force Intelligence Bureau, to investigate a criminal complaint filed by D’banj against Do2dtun within a two-week timeframe and report back to the court.
The court’s decision has stirred various reactions on social media, with some people pointing out the perceived inconsistency in how the judicial system has responded to Do2dtun’s situation, especially in contrast to his custody battle.
