Bovi Reveals Why He Rejected Marriage Proposals from 3 Actresses
Nigerian comedian and actor Bovi Ugboma has surprised many by sharing that he turned down marriage proposals from three actresses despite being married.
In a revelation made on his Instagram page, Bovi disclosed that during the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), three actresses offered him marriage for a year. However, he declined the proposals, citing the associated responsibilities.
He stated, “Last night @afriff 3 actresses offered me marriage for a year. I turned them down because the offers came with responsibility.”
Actress Sharon Ooja reacted playfully, declaring herself as Bovi’s wife’s bodyguard and vowing to teach the actresses a lesson in the streets.
“Look at my guy. My own friend! Tell those actresses I’m Kris’s bodyguard; I’ll meet them in the streets. Stay blessed,” she commented.
Bovi and his wife, Kris Asimonye, recently caught attention with their unique beach wedding renewal ceremony, which took place on water with mariners as officiating ministers.
The couple got married in 2009, and Bovi often expresses his admiration and love for his wife. Last year, on their 13th anniversary, he credited Kris for transforming him from a ‘wild animal’ to a ‘domestic’ being, praising her ageless beauty and body stature despite having three children.
