I’ll Declare State of Emergency on Edo Roads – Okpebholo, APC Candidate

-

Senator Monday Okpebholo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the upcoming Edo State governorship election, has pledged to declare a state of emergency on the state’s roads if elected. Speaking at a rally in Egor Local Government Area, he also promised to employ 5,000 teachers to fill vacancies in state schools and to enhance security measures to tackle kidnappings.

Okpebholo outlined his plans to revamp the state’s healthcare sector by revitalizing moribund hospitals and emphasized his commitment to agriculture, specifically mechanized farming, as part of his five-point program.

The rally also featured speeches from key APC figures, including Senator Matthew Uroghide, who praised Okpebholo’s past performance and readiness to win the governorship election, and former Governor Adams Oshiomhole, who criticized the current administration and expressed confidence in the APC’s ability to win the election.
