The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the upcoming Edo State gubernatorial election, Asue Ighodalo, has stated that his party will only sign the peace accord once certain conditions are met by the federal government and police.
Speaking on Channels Television’s *Politics Today*, Ighodalo expressed concern over the detention of several PDP members without charges. He emphasized that the party would sign the accord once these detained members are either charged or granted bail. This comes after the PDP initially refused to sign the peace accord, citing unresolved grievances with the police.
