Nollywood star Annie Idibia is overjoyed after being honored as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Africa.
Glocal Unity Women International announced her recognition, which will be celebrated at the upcoming International Women’s Empowerment and Sustainable Development Summit. The award organizers praised Annie for her remarkable talent, charisma, and her impactful contributions to social causes, especially her dedication to women’s empowerment and success in the fashion and business sectors.
Sharing her reaction on Instagram, Annie expressed disbelief and gratitude, referring to the accolade as “loud” and highlighting her journey as a “child of grace.” She wrote, “Ok, guys!! This one is loud! I am still rubbing my eyes. Gosh!! Pitching myself. So grateful!! Child of Grace. Is this really me?? 100 Most Influential women across Africa and the world. What?”.
