Folashade Olukoya, wife of the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has called on youths and young adults to embrace righteousness and a deep relationship with God to achieve their fullest potential. Speaking at a Special Youth Programme held at MFM Magodo Youth Church, Lagos, Olukoya emphasized the importance of living a virtuous life to fulfill God’s destiny.
Addressing the theme, ‘Taking Possession of the Gate for Your Next Level,’ Olukoya urged youths to avoid sexual immorality, which she believes undermines their virtues and potential. She stressed that true greatness is achievable only through God’s power, daily renewal of the mind with scripture, prayer, and positive thinking aligned with God’s purpose.
Olukoya highlighted that only those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and who overcome sin and carnality, can attain divine greatness. She encouraged youths to boldly resist unrighteous behaviors and use their bodies to glorify God.
She also shared the vision of MFM’s General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, and the church’s commitment to capturing the youth for Christ through various deliverance programs aimed at fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives. The church’s focus on youth includes rescuing them from destructive influences, transforming lives, and bringing hope to the hopeless.
Pastor Kayode Adekunle Elijah, Regional Overseer of MFM Magodo Youth Church, affirmed the alignment with Dr. Olukoya’s vision, noting the church’s success in leading many youths to Christ, including those from clubs and former prostitutes. He praised the church for its transformative impact, providing career, business, and academic breakthroughs through prayer and biblical teachings.
The church has also undertaken Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including a Food Bank for widows and the needy, free medical outreaches, and digital and tech boot camps to equip youths for the modern world. These efforts aim to empower young people both spiritually and practically, contributing to their overall development and success.
