“Wizkid Continues to Slam Davido, Takes Shots at Tunde Ednut”

Published

on

Wizkid has reignited his feud with fellow artist Davido, launching new insults aimed at both him and his close associate, Tunde Ednut. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the music star declared that things “wouldn’t be better for Davido and his feelings” in response to a fan expressing concern about Davido’s emotional state.

A fan had commented, “I wonder how Davido feels reading all your tweets,” to which Wizkid fired back, “It won’t be better for Davido and his feelings.”

The drama didn’t stop there. Addressing another X user who suggested he wanted to reconcile with Davido, Wizkid dismissed the claim, stating that Davido was actually the one pursuing him. He explained an incident in Lagos, claiming Davido showed up uninvited to an event hosted by his DJ, Skyla. “He looks for me everywhere like a fanboy! This was my DJ’s event in Lagos, and we didn’t invite them!” he wrote.

Wizkid also took aim at Davido’s close friend, Tunde Ednut. When a fan urged him to retaliate against Ednut for past disrespect, Wizkid responded by stating that Ednut needed “healing” and made a mocking reference to his disability, saying, “We don’t diss disabled people.”

The feud between Wizkid and Davido, which has simmered for years, saw a resurgence earlier this year when Wizkid threw the first jab. Their rocky relationship had appeared to be on the mend after Wizkid once expressed interest in going on tour with Davido following the tragic loss of Davido’s son. However, tensions flared again in April, with both artists exchanging accusations. Davido even alleged domestic abuse involving Wizkid and his partner, Jada Pollock, while Wizkid mocked Davido for his personal relationships.

This latest round of public insults comes as Wizkid prepares to release his first single of the year, a move some fans think is tied to his need to stir controversy.
