Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has a message for women dealing with unfaithful partners. Through her Instagram story, the philanthropist expressed her belief that cheating is not a mere mistake but a deliberate process that involves communication, meetings, and sexual encounters between the parties involved. She advised women to remind their partners that their intimacy is equally new to other men if they decide to stray.
“Cheating is never a mistake. The whole process was planned out. They both talked, linked up, and had affairs. So, if your man is out there seeking new experiences, just remind him that your experiences are also new to other men,” Tonto Dikeh remarked.
In a different context, 2Baba, the renowned singer, disclosed on an episode of the South African reality show “Young, Famous and African” why many men cheat on their partners. He explained that a man can love a woman and still cheat due to his sexual desires. He added that in such moments, he doesn’t think about the woman he loves but rather about fulfilling his physical desires.
Anita Joseph, a fellow actress, expressed her discontent with 2Baba’s statement, questioning if he was indirectly suggesting he wouldn’t cease cheating on his wife, Annie.
Nollywood actor Seun Sean Jimoh also weighed in on the topic, advising women to keep their extramarital affairs or infidelity concealed from their partners. He explained that it’s challenging for men to accept the revelation that their significant other had an affair, as men don’t forgive easily and often hold such actions against women, even using them as a form of punishment.
