Mr. Ibu’s hospitalization has drawn attention, and his wife, Stella Marris, made a plea for help and prayers last year when he was previously admitted to a hospital in Abuja.
On his anniversary day, he was readmitted to the hospital, with suspicions of food poisoning. Mr. Ibu disclosed that he had been poisoned for the third time in about three years and expressed concerns that unknown individuals may be targeting him.
