Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has once again criticized the Nigerian police regarding the late singer Ileriouluwa Oladimeji, popularly known as Mohbad. Tonto Dikeh is calling for the release of the singer’s body for a proper burial, expressing frustration with the perceived carelessness and slowness of the police.
In a passionate appeal, the actress emphasized her exhaustion with the police’s handling of the situation and urged them to expedite the process. Tonto Dikeh stated that she has invested too much emotion, time, and love not to see justice served. She emphasized that Mohbad’s case is not one to be ignored or swept under the rug.
“Give us Mohbad for a befitting burial. We are tired of your carelessness and slowness. If no one speaks, I will. I have invested too much of my emotions, my time, and my love to see this justice go through. Like QM says, give the police more time. Honestly, we have given you all the more time than necessary. This is not the case to be swept under. We want Justice.”
Providing an update on the singer’s death, Tonto Dikeh conveyed a heartfelt message to Mohbad’s supporters, explaining that she, along with others, has done her part, and now it’s the Nigerian police’s turn to deliver justice. She assured everyone that she has been collaborating closely with the authorities and remains optimistic that justice for Mohbad will be achieved.
Last month, Tonto Dikeh penned an emotional note to Mohbad, expressing her love and promising that he would rest in peace as justice is pursued. More recently, she criticized Mohbad’s father for his careless remarks, stating that it hindered their efforts to demand justice for the late singer.
