“Temmie Ovwasa Clears the Air: No Physical or Sexual Assault from Olamide”

Published

on

Nigerian singer, Temmie Ovwasa, has addressed the ongoing controversy involving her and her former boss, Olamide, setting the record straight about certain allegations.

Temmie clarified that Olamide had never physically or sexually assaulted her and urged people to stop spreading false information. She emphasized that her grievances revolved around the way her music career was handled, the lack of structure within the record label, her experiences with Olamide’s wife, and other related matters.

She revealed the last message she sent to Olamide before blocking him, expressing her dissatisfaction with the meager compensation she received upon the termination of her contract. According to her, the money provided was insufficient to cover her rent and bills in Lagos.

Temmie Ovwasa stressed that her focus was on her music and career and not on personal allegations. She urged people not to inquire about sexual harassment in her direct messages, as it was not part of her grievances.

Furthermore, she questioned the fate of previous artists signed under Olamide’s label, mentioning Pelepele, and indicated that she was determined to share her story as she climbed her way to success.

In her closing statements, Temmie Ovwasa expressed her ambition to build something that transcends the music industry, promising to do just that.

This clarification comes after Temmie Ovwasa previously voiced her displeasure about her treatment during her time with Olamide’s label, YBNL, particularly mentioning the behavior of Olamide’s wife towards her. Her comments had sparked a public exchange between her and the music producer, Pheelz, who denied misplacing her songs and accused her of clout chasing with Olamide’s name.
