Serie A: Lazio Coach Urges Dele-Bashiru to Adapt to Italian Football

-

Lazio manager Marco Baroni has emphasized that Fisayo Dele-Bashiru must adapt to the demands of Italian football following a challenging start since his arrival.

Dele-Bashiru joined Lazio on loan from Turkish Super Lig club Hatayaspor in the summer transfer window, with the Biancolesti holding a mandatory option to make his move permanent at the end of the season.

Baroni believes Dele-Bashiru has great potential but must address his weaknesses to thrive in Serie A.

“Dele-Bashiru has great potential, but it’s clear he has to find the rhythm of the match, the mentality, the physicality, and the quality,” Baroni told Noi Biancolesti.

He added, “It’s not easy to transition from a different league to the Italian one, where mistakes are not tolerated.”

So far, Dele-Bashiru has managed two goals and two assists in 11 appearances across all competitions for Lazio.

His journey in Italy continues as he works to integrate his skills into Lazio’s system and improve his overall performance.
