In an Instagram post, Edochie lamented that this was the second time the false news had circulated about Pawpaw, highlighting that some netizens were quick to believe and spread the misleading information. She also pointed out that similar rumors had been spread about her, using a photo from a movie set to falsely announce her death.
Edochie criticized the negative impact of social media on society, stating that while it has enriched many, it has also caused harm. She urged for an end to the rampant abuse of social platforms, which she believes fuels the spread of fake news.
