Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has addressed the public for the first time following his arrest by the Lagos State Police Command over allegations of unpaid debts related to a G-Wagon purchase.
Portable’s arrest was linked to claims that he failed to pay the full amount for a G-Wagon vehicle from a car dealer. Reports indicate that while the singer paid N13 million, he left a significant balance of N14 million unsettled, alleging defects with the vehicle as his reason for not completing the payment.
In his first public statement since the arrest, Portable took to his Instagram page to share a message of faith and resilience with his fans and followers.
He wrote, “God is bigger than everything. Amen if you believe so. God over everything.”
