Nigerian skitmaker and content creator Aloma Isaac Junior, popularly known as Zics Aloma, has expressed immense gratitude to God following the collapse of his living room’s POP ceiling.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Zics recounted the frightening incident that occurred while he was asleep. He initially thought he was dreaming when he heard a loud sound but soon became terrified to investigate, fearing the building might have collapsed. When he finally gathered the courage to go downstairs, he discovered that the ceiling in his living room had indeed collapsed.
Zics reflected on how fortunate he was, especially since his crew had been at his house just the day before for a shoot, and many had slept in the living room. He pondered the potential consequences had they still been there, saying, “Na God dey save person o. I was sleeping upstairs; I just heard a sound from my dream… Just imagine if they were still here and they had been camping in my house for 3 days. Thank God o. It’s just a fan that broke, and everything came down.”
His followers and fellow celebrities quickly joined in the comments to rejoice with him, expressing their relief. Faithia Williams shared her own experience, writing, “It has happened to me before. We bless God,” while others like Queeneth Hilbert and Jasmine Okafor echoed sentiments of gratitude for Zics’ safety.
This incident is not unique in the entertainment industry; several actors have similarly expressed gratitude after experiencing ceiling collapses. Last year, actress Ruth Eze thanked God after her ceiling fell in, acknowledging that she could have been seriously injured. Actor Charles Inojie also shared a testimony in 2022 about narrowly avoiding injury when a tank fell in his usual sitting spot.
