Wunmi Aloba, the widow of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has broken her silence following a pathologist’s statement that the cause of her husband’s death remains undetermined.
Mohbad passed away under suspicious circumstances on September 12, 2023. Amid public outcry for justice, his body was exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. However, the pathologist revealed during a coroner’s inquest on May 15 that the singer’s body had deteriorated to a point where determining the cause of death was impossible.
A witness at the hearing also testified about the singer’s troubles with Sam Larry and Wunmi.
Expressing her grief, Wunmi posted a blank, dark page on her Instagram Stories and shared a photo of Mohbad with the caption: “Ilerioluwa masun (do not sleep).”
