Despite the passage of years since the separation of Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu and his former wife, Maureen Esisi, the socialite continues to face threats from various quarters.
Maureen, known as Red Vigor on Instagram, recently took to the platform to expose disturbing messages she received from a troll who expressed wishes for her death and barrenness. The troll vowed to ensure that Maureen remained unmarried and childless, resorting to harsh and unprintable language in the process.
One message read, “You must go down that I promise u, no man will ever marry a woman like urself. Even your own child you will never have. Playing around. You think you have arrived; forget the wages of sin is death and the gift of the universe is long life. You haven’t seen anything yet. You think you will spoil another person’s life, and your own won’t be ruined. Time will tell on you; soon if you go to church, they won’t help you, sucker.”
In response, Maureen shared the screenshots of these messages and expressed that one day, people will hear her story.
“Years later, and I still get death threats. One day, you all will hear my story.”
A few weeks prior, while engaging with a troll, Maureen Esisi had openly acknowledged that her estranged husband had made a wise choice in leaving her. Blossom Chukwujekwu has moved on and remarried Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s niece in a traditional ceremony in Benin, Edo state, followed by a white wedding on May 21, 2022.
Maureen Esisi couldn’t resist taking a dig at her ex-husband for choosing to marry an older woman, adding another layer to the ongoing drama surrounding their separation.
