The former wife of talent manager Ubi Franklin took to her Instagram page to share a photo of her hand on a car wheel, adorned with what appeared to be an engagement ring. While she didn’t provide a caption, many assumed that she is engaged and flooded her comments with congratulatory messages.

Their divorce journey was marked by legal proceedings, with Lilian initially filing in a Lagos High Court and Ubi subsequently filing in Abuja, where the divorce was eventually granted.
The divorce was officially dissolved in an Abuja High Court on January 28th, 2021. Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro both shared insights into their marriage and its challenges. Ubi mentioned that a lack of love led to grudges, resentment, and a general dislike in their relationship. Lilian, in an interview with Toke Makinwa, revealed that their marriage faced challenges even from the engagement stage but did not express regret, as their son was the result of the union.
Lilian acknowledged that the divorce took an emotional toll on her, leading to a period of depression, but she has since sought healing and is now open to entering a new relationship.
