The chairman of Portland Resorts Hotel, Azubuike Ihemeje, announced the development on Facebook after being approached by a communication company.
Azubuike stated that Veronica would receive the satellite phone upon her arrival at the hotel for her all-expenses-paid vacation over the weekend.
“BIG NEWS! A communication company, Ulefone HOUSE, has pledged to gift Vera Anyim of NOUN one of their premium satellite phones valued at 1.8 million naira as soon as she arrives at Portland Resorts this weekend. Pure grace!” he wrote in a Facebook post.
He also clarified that the phone would be presented to her during the hotel’s anniversary, where she will serve as the brand ambassador.
“The phone will be delivered to her at Portland Resort in Port Harcourt, where she will enjoy a premium vacation. Portland Resort is celebrating its first anniversary on Sunday, April 21, 2024, with the opening of its luxury cinema and VVIP Lounge Club, where Vera is our current brand ambassador,” he said.
