Kazim Adeoti, Nigerian businessman and husband of actress Mercy Aigbe, recently visited filmmaker Kunle Afolayan to offer his condolences following the death of Afolayan’s mother, Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan, who passed away at 81.
Adeoti shared a photo from his visit on Instagram, where he was seen signing the condolence register at the Afolayan home. He expressed his sympathy, writing, “May the soul of our dear Mother rest in the Lord.”
Kunle Afolayan had previously shared the sad news on social media, reflecting on the comfort of his mother’s fulfilled life. He asked for prayers for the family, who mourn the loss of a beloved matriarch.
This visit follows a series of similar tributes in the entertainment industry, as other public figures such as BBNaija’s Hermes Iyele and skit maker Nasty Blaq have also faced recent losses.
