Kabiru Adeniyi Adisa has formally announced his intention to contest the 2026 Osun State governorship election on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform.
Adisa, a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of community development experience, outlined his vision for fostering sustainable development, inclusive growth, and economic stability in Osun State.
He emphasized his commitment to scholarships, healthcare for maternal and infant care, and youth empowerment as key pillars of his agenda, stating that these initiatives have already positively impacted thousands across the state.
“My corporate experience in financial planning and resource management positions me as a capable leader to steer Osun toward development and prosperity,” Adisa remarked.
Highlighting Osun’s potential, he pledged to harness the state’s abundant mineral resources and tourism attractions to fund social projects and drive economic growth. He also cited strong connections with international donors as a strategy to secure resources for the state’s advancement.
Under the campaign banner Together for a Progressive Osun, Adisa promised to deliver governance rooted in transparency, equity, and inclusivity, addressing challenges in healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
“My administration will prioritize grassroots needs and ensure the vulnerable are not left behind,” Adisa affirmed, referencing his past efforts in providing academic materials, mobility aids, and essential resources to underserved communities.
With a solid background in attracting investments and managing industrial projects, Adisa expressed confidence in his ability to transform Osun into a hub of economic and industrial activity, creating jobs and improving citizens’ lives.
