Jim Iyke Receives Praise for Clarifying Offensive Comment About Ex, Nadia Buari
Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Jim Iyke, has provided an explanation for his previous comment about his ex-girlfriend, Nadia Buari, which had raised eyebrows. During an interview with media personality Toke Makinwa, he had responded to a question about his relationship with Nadia by saying, “Who’s that,” a response that many found offensive.
In a recent interview, Jim Iyke clarified his comment, emphasizing that he and Nadia Buari have moved on from their past relationship, and both are currently in new relationships. He explained that he didn’t want to offend Nadia Buari’s husband and his current girlfriend by discussing their past affair. Toke had asked an explicit question about Nadia, and Jim Iyke’s response was aimed at avoiding an answer.
Jim Iyke stated, “Anyway, I answer the question of my sexual explicity with Nadia Buari is lose lose. I chose not to answer because no husband wants to hear about an ex, and anyone who doesn’t understand this needs a serious brain check. I didn’t want to offend a married woman with four children, so it was better to leave the past in the past. I must respect both my current partner and Nadia’s husband.”
His clarification has been well-received by many, who praised him for his maturity in handling the situation.
Jim Iyke and Nadia Buari were believed to have dated between 2013 and 2014, and Nadia had appeared on Jim Iyke’s now-defunct reality show, “Jim Iyke: Unscripted,” in 2014, where he proposed to her. However, Jim Iyke later claimed that their relationship on the show was scripted for ratings.
In another recent interview, Jim Iyke took accountability for his failed marriages, admitting that they were his fault. He mentioned that his emotional detachment, stemming from the death of his mother, had a significant impact on his behavior in his marriages. Jim Iyke has been married twice and has three children.

Award-winning artist Davido has declared his fourth album, *Timeless*, as his best work to date. In an interview with comedian and actor Broda Shaggi during the unveiling of his new Puma collection, Davido discussed his fashion choices and shared insights about his music.
Reflecting on his style, Davido stated, “They say I like to dress like a rapper because I love urban fashion. I love wearing T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers to look comfortable. You will find me in a suit when it’s time to collect money. Sometimes, I also wear Agbada.”
Released on March 31, 2023, *Timeless* achieved remarkable success, setting records for first-day and first-week streams on platforms like Spotify Nigeria, Audiomack, Boomplay, and YouTube. The album received a Grammy nomination for Best Global Album and produced hit singles such as “Unavailable,” featuring Musa Keys, which earned a Grammy nod for Best African Song Performance, and “Feel,” nominated for Best Global Song Performance.
In the interview, Davido hinted that his upcoming album will surpass *Timeless*, a sentiment he echoed earlier this year when hosting American content creator Kai Cenat. Fans can look forward to the new album’s lead single, a collaboration with Jamaican star YG Marley.
The film *dire, featuring Kehinde Bankole, has garnered four nominations at the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards. FilmOne Entertainment announced this achievement via their Instagram, highlighting the film’s exceptional cinematography and performances.

It was created and written by Jack’enneth Opukeme, who also acts in the film, and directed by Adeoluwa Owu, also known as Captain Degzy. The cast includes notable names such as Femi Branch, Kelechi Udegbe, and Yvonne Jegede.
