Food critic Opeyemi Famakin has raised concerns for his safety after reviewing Cubana Chiefpriest’s restaurant in Imo State. Famakin praised the restaurant’s interior design and generous portions of local dishes but criticized the handling of pastries, particularly a microwaved burger that lost its original taste.
Famakin suggested improvements, such as using an oven or heated lamps instead of microwaving food. Despite posting a balanced review, he expressed fear that his critique might come at a personal cost, saying, “If anything happens to me, you know who to hold.”
While Cubana Chiefpriest initially thanked Famakin publicly, the critic later shared a private message where the businessman appeared angry, hinting at karma coming for him. Famakin interpreted this as a threat and urged his followers to take note if anything happens to him while in Imo State.
