Taking to Instagram, Omoni expressed her gratitude, saying, “Great news besties! *THE UPRISING* film continues to wax strong; we are the number one Nollywood film of the weekend. God did it! Thank you to all our amazing Besties and fans for the love, energy, and support. We couldn’t have done it without you.”
The film is still showing in cinemas nationwide, and Omoni encouraged viewers to experience this blockbuster with friends. Additionally, *The Uprising* is set to premiere in Francophone Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Ireland on November 8.
