Ike Onyema, a former contestant from Big Brother Naija All-Stars, has extended an olive branch to his fellow housemate, Maria Chike, after a recent online exchange of words.
Previously, Ike expressed his intention to work against Mercy Eke’s chances of winning the show for a second time, as he was against her victory. Maria, a staunch supporter of Mercy, taunted Ike on Twitter after Mercy reached the finals, confidently claiming that Mercy had a 99.9% chance of winning.
In response, Ike responded with harsh words, assuring Maria that Mercy would not win the season.
However, following Mercy Eke’s loss in the show’s finale, Ike Onyema took to Twitter to express forgiveness towards Maria. He stated that he understood that peace is not only possible but also inevitable and advised Maria to “go and sin no more.”
While inside the Big Brother house, Ike had even threatened to evict Mercy. He had discussed the possibility of Mercy winning the show again with Angel Smith and admitted that despite her strong fan base, he would join forces with others to ensure she did not secure a second victory.
In a similar vein, Ike Onyema also sent a message to the All-Stars winner, Ilebaye, congratulating her on her victory and implying that his actions inside the house had contributed to boosting her game. He referred to himself as the orchestrator of God’s plans and alluded to the housemates’ past bullying of Ilebaye, which ultimately led to her popularity with viewers and her win.
