Chocobumbum, a prominent Ghanaian figure, has raised concerns about what she perceives as insufficient support from Nigerians for their fellow Africans. She specifically pointed out the case of Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, who recently set the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time while standing.
Taking to social media, Chocobumbum shared her thoughts, stating, “I stand to be corrected, but I have not seen Nigerians supporting us like the way we did for them. It’s well, keep going.”
These comments followed a singing event where a Ghanaian girl attempted to break the world record for the longest time singing a song. Chocobumbum observed a difference in support from Nigerians compared to the overwhelming backing Hilda Baci received from Ghanaians.
However, the comments section revealed a different perspective, with many Nigerians defending their country. Some suggested that the lack of support might be due to the event not being widely publicized in Nigeria, asserting that low awareness contributed to the limited support.
Notably, Hilda Baci has been making headlines not only for her achievements but also for her personal life. Recently seen at an event with her boyfriend, Dapper, their appearance further confirmed speculations about their relationship.
This development comes after Hilda Baci gracefully relinquished her Guinness World Record title to Alan Fisher, a man who surpassed her cooking record. In a good-natured tweet, Hilda acknowledged the new champion and expressed that she would always remain a Guinness World Record holder at heart.
