Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has shared an inspiring message on forgiveness during a reunion with her colleague and friend, Zubby Michael.
On Instagram, Angela posted photos and videos of herself and Zubby on a drive together. Reflecting on their reunion, Angela emphasized the importance of forgiveness and its connection to God’s blessings. She described bitterness as a powerful force that can hinder personal growth and success.
Angela further explained that letting go of grudges could be the key to unlocking future breakthroughs. She wrote:
“No one can experience God’s blessings if they cannot give out forgiveness. Bitterness is a controlling power. It influences your life struggles and can prevent blessings. Unforgiveness can also open doors to sickness and makes you rejoice in iniquity. The person you are holding in unforgiveness might be your access key to tomorrow’s breakthrough.”
She continued:
“Never retain offenses. When you retain offenses, you are detained at the same time. Retain and be detained. Forgiveness can turn everything around and move God to change His judgment to clemency.”
Angela also shared her past grievances with Zubby Michael, recalling how she criticized him for not publicly mourning their late colleague, Junior Pope. She expressed that Zubby’s relationship with Junior Pope had been strained, with Zubby often at odds with people in the industry, including the late actor.
Despite their past differences, the two recently reunited over a smoke and expressed that their bond was based on love and mutual respect.
