Nollywood actress Esther Kalejaye has officially become a Canadian citizen, a milestone she proudly shared on Instagram. The Yoruba actress posted photos of herself with her new passports and documents, celebrating the achievement with her fans.
Congratulatory messages flooded her comment section, with many of her followers expressing joy over her success. One fan, Tibitoye72, expressed, “Delay isn’t denial, daughter of Grace, congrats sis,” while others echoed similar sentiments of happiness and support.
Esther Kalejaye joins a growing list of Nigerian celebrities who have achieved dual citizenship. Earlier this year, Nigerian musician Lamboginny became a U.S. citizen, expressing deep gratitude for the milestone. Additionally, in 2023, Pasuma’s daughter, Aliyah Fiyinfoluwa Odetola, was granted Canadian citizenship, while actress Uche Jombo became a U.S. citizen in 2022.
