Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has praised Noussair Mazraoui for his exceptional performance during the 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town in the Premier League over the weekend.
Amorim highlighted Mazraoui’s importance to the team, describing the Morocco international as “crucial” for the Red Devils’ future. The 27-year-old former Bayern Munich player played the full 90 minutes and was a standout presence on the field.
Speaking to BBC, Amorim emphasized Mazraoui’s adaptability, noting that due to the team’s limited number of centre-backs, players like Mazraoui, who can play multiple positions, are vital.
“We don’t have too many centre-backs, so we have to adapt some players. I thought Noussair Mazraoui did very well,” said Amorim. “He is so smart and is so important for us. He can play anywhere, and that kind of player is crucial for our future.”
