Eniola Ajao has issued a heartfelt apology via her Instagram page, expressing regret and remorse for the controversy surrounding the selection of the ‘Best Dressed Female’ at her movie premiere, “BEAST OF TWO WORLDS – AJAKAJU,” held on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
In her statement, Eniola apologized to all those affected, including the Muslim community, and extended her apologies to women in society, emphasizing her respect for womanhood and the importance of upholding dignity and respect.
She also addressed the undue backlash faced by her boss, Femi Adebayo, and his wife, Iyanla, as well as Dayo Amusa, expressing regret for any harm caused. Additionally, she apologized to Bobrisky, clarifying that the decision to award him was not meant to cause harm but rather to generate publicity for the movie.
As a gesture of reconciliation, Eniola announced that she would honor two new winners, Bode Alao and another woman, as the best-dressed females at the premiere. Each winner will receive a sum of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira) as a token of apology and appreciation for their grace.
