EgyptAir has called on Nigerian travel agents to position Egypt as a premier tourist destination, emphasizing the nation’s diverse attractions and affordability.

Speaking during a strategic engagement with travel agents, EgyptAir’s Country Manager, Amr Basha, highlighted Egypt’s offerings, from iconic historical landmarks like the Pyramids of Giza to luxurious beach resorts in Sharm El Sheikh and adventure experiences such as quad biking and boat cruises.

Basha assured agents of affordable travel packages catering to various traveler needs, including leisure, medical tourism, and art enthusiasts. “Promote Egypt as a destination with something for everyone,” he urged.

Faith Obazee, the airline’s Sales Executive, elaborated on EgyptAir’s frequent flyer programs, fleet upgrades, and new travel routes. She also updated agents on interline services and codeshare agreements with global airlines.

Station Manager Mohammed Afifi addressed passenger requirements, such as the Yellow Fever Card for travelers visiting Egypt or transiting for more than 12 hours, stressing the airline’s commitment to passenger safety and health.

The event also recognized top-performing agents for their contributions in the 2023/2024 fiscal year, reinforcing EgyptAir’s commitment to partnerships in the Nigerian market.

With its strategic initiatives, EgyptAir aims to strengthen Egypt’s position as a must-visit destination, blending cultural heritage, luxury, and adventure.
