Ed Sheeran has shared the intriguing reason behind his decision to stop using a phone in 2015. The renowned English singer revealed that he no longer uses a phone, opting instead for an iPad to handle official emails.
Sheeran explained that whenever he needs to make a call, he borrows a phone from friends or family. The decision to abandon his phone stemmed from a conversation he had with a friend, who abruptly lost concentration due to a phone notification.
Sheeran noticed that he, too, was often distracted by texting, even during conversations with his father. This realization prompted him to break the habit of using his phone.
He further mentioned that he stays in touch with people but restricts his communication to Sundays, using emails and texts.
