Daniel Dubois to Defend IBF Heavyweight Title Against Joseph Parker in February

-

British heavyweight Daniel Dubois is set to defend his IBF heavyweight world title against New Zealand’s Joseph Parker on February 22, 2025, as reported by Sky Sports.

Dubois secured the IBF Interim title in June by defeating Filip Hrgovic and was later elevated to full world champion status after Tyson Fury vacated the belt ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. Dubois further solidified his reign with an emphatic fifth-round knockout of Anthony Joshua at Wembley in September.

Parker, a seasoned former world champion, has earned his shot at the title through an impressive resurgence. He notably upset ex-WBC champion Deontay Wilder last year and claimed the WBO Interim title with a victory over Zhilei Zhang.

The matchup promises to be a thrilling clash between two formidable heavyweights, each with a proven record of explosive performances.
