Taking place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the fight has drawn criticism from promoters and fans alike, who argue Tyson’s age and health issues make the bout unsafe.
The fight, which spans eight two-minute rounds, follows a medical incident in May that delayed the original July date after Tyson suffered a bleeding ulcer. Despite concerns, Tyson remains undeterred, stating, “I’m just ready to fight.”
