Nollywood actress Blessing Obasi is basking in the joy of motherhood after welcoming her first child, Jayden Chimebuka Nzediegwu. Her husband, Stan Nze, shared the happy news, revealing that they had initially thought they were expecting twin girls but found out they were having a baby boy during a gender reveal.
Stan Nze expressed his gratitude to God for the unexpected turn of events and hoped that their family plan might still include twin girls in the future.
Blessing Obasi, on the other hand, was elated to be a new mother. Overwhelmed with emotions, she couldn’t find the right words to express her feelings. She thanked God for showing her mercy and declared herself as the favored of the Lord.
In a heartwarming Instagram post, she wrote, “This is coming from a heart bursting with total gratitude to God. What a journey it has been! Words will never adequately express it, but I am the one whom God has shown mercy. Believe me when I say that God can be trusted! What a journey! There is so much to say… no words to express. But for now, did you ever doubt the goodness of God, take a long good look at me and see that God is good. I am the favored of the Lord. I am a whole mummy! Wow Someone pinch me!! God is good!! Back in September, on their 2nd anniversary, Blessing and Stan shared the news of their pregnancy with a heartwarming video that captured the actress gently touching her baby bump. They also shared their pregnancy journey in a YouTube video, sharing the moment they each found out about the pregnancy. Later, they hosted an intimate gender reveal party with colleagues like Efe Irele in attendance.
