Bayelsa United’s Bosso Seeks Patience Amid Rebuilding Process

-

Bayelsa United coach Ladan Bosso has called for patience as he works to improve the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club’s performance. After receiving a two-game ultimatum from management, Bosso led the team to a 1-0 victory over Rivers United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, lifting them out of the relegation zone.

Despite this crucial win, Bosso emphasized that Bayelsa United is still in a development phase, with many of its young players in their debut season. He believes the team’s energy and stamina gave them an advantage over Rivers United, and he’s confident the squad will continue to grow with time.

“We need to be patient with this youthful team,” Bosso stated, adding that while he may adjust tactics, he intends to maintain a consistent lineup for stability.

Bayelsa United, currently 14th in the NPFL with 13 points from 11 games, will host Katsina United at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa for their next match.
