The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) and Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ) have awarded a N1 million grant to pastry chef and entrepreneur Achiv Ngusurun, highlighting her entrepreneurial innovation at the 23rd Annual WIMBIZ Conference in Lagos. Ngusurun stood out in a business pitch competition, where she presented her plans to drive economic growth through her business.
Jolomi Fawehinmi, NBC’s People and Culture Director, expressed the company’s commitment to promoting female-led enterprises, emphasizing that empowering women in business supports entire communities. Fawehinmi described NBC’s partnership with WIMBIZ as an effort to foster economic inclusion, offering women entrepreneurs financial support, networking, and learning opportunities.
WIMBIZ also reinforced its commitment to advancing women’s careers, providing a collaborative space for both emerging and seasoned female professionals.
