Renowned Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has shared her harrowing experience with a severe health crisis.
In a heartfelt video posted on her Instagram on Thursday, the 46-year-old actress revealed undergoing surgery to remove her gallbladder after battling excruciating pain and recurring emergencies.
Omotola recounted how the ordeal began: “I threw up all night. By the morning, the most dilapidated stomach pain started, and I was rushed again to the emergency for the third time.”
Medical tests, including a CT scan, ultrasound, and MRI, led to an urgent diagnosis requiring immediate surgery. “The fight for my life began,” she said.
Despite the ordeal, the actress expressed gratitude to God for her recovery and encouraged her followers to remain hopeful, even in the face of dire medical diagnoses.
The video has since garnered support from fans and colleagues, who have flooded her page with messages of love and prayers for her continued recovery.
