Amorim Praises Mazraoui as Manchester United’s Future After Europa League Win

-

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has lauded Noussair Mazraoui, describing him as a cornerstone for the team’s future following their dramatic 3-2 victory against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Rasmus Hojlund stole the show with a brace, but Mazraoui’s performance caught Amorim’s eye. The 26-year-old Moroccan defender, who joined from Bayern Munich last summer for £12.8 million with potential add-ons of £4.3 million, has continued to excel under Amorim’s brief tenure.

“Noussair Mazraoui is an incredible player. He is our future,” Amorim stated post-match. “He always seems fresh even if we have to be careful with all the matches. He is the kind of player we need.”

Mazraoui’s adaptability and consistency have been pivotal, reinforcing his status as a vital component in Manchester United’s rebuild under Amorim.

The Red Devils’ next test awaits as they aim to maintain momentum both in Europe and domestically.
