Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and Governor of Gombe State, has extended heartfelt condolences to Pastor Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, following the passing of his wife, Mrs. Patience Umo-Eno.
In a statement released on September 27, 2024, by Ismaila Misilli, Director-General of Press Affairs at the Gombe State Government House, Yahaya conveyed sympathies on behalf of all 19 Northern Governors. He described the late First Lady as a virtuous woman, a loving mother, and a pillar of strength for her family and the state.

The NSGF Chairman concluded with prayers for the bereaved family and the people of Akwa Ibom, asking, “May God Almighty grant the bereaved family and the entire Akwa Ibom people the fortitude to bear this great loss, and for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased.”
