Renowned singer Innocent Idibia, also known as 2baba, and his wife Sunmbo Adeoye are celebrating their son, Nino Idibia, as he embarks on his university journey abroad.
Nino, their eldest son, who graduated from secondary school a few months ago, is now stepping into an independent chapter of his life as he begins his university education overseas.
Sunmbo Adeoye shared a heartwarming photo on her Instagram page, capturing the moment she and her husband, David Adeoye, accompanied their son to the airport.
In her caption, the mother of four expressed gratitude for the faithfulness of God in her life and her children’s lives, especially as Nino starts this new phase of his educational journey.
“As I reflect on the past few weeks, I am reminded of the faithfulness of God in our lives and the lives of our children. Our Father indeed credits to us the reward of our service to Him. Thank you, Lord, for this next level. As our son @ninoidibia goes to University,” Sunmbo Adeoye shared.

For Nino’s graduation party, Charles Idibia (2face’s younger brother) and the singer’s mother joined in the celebration, along with Annie Idibia’s daughter, Isabella.
Annie Idibia also shared the news that Isabella was already studying in a UK college. She expressed the challenges they faced with Isabella’s passport being stuck at the UK embassy but noted that with the help of Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, they were able to resolve the situation and ensure Isabella didn’t miss too many classes.
