In the midst of the marriage controversy surrounding Israel DMW and his estranged wife, Sheila Courage, Nigerian artist Portable has shared unconventional advice. Portable suggests that if Israel had followed his example of marrying four wives, he wouldn’t be facing the current challenges in his marriage.
In a video posted on social media, Portable voiced his opinion, stating that having multiple wives provides alternatives and a support system. While acknowledging his own status as a “lover boy,” Portable emphasized the importance of having more than one wife, claiming that he takes good care of all of them.
He asserted that in the event of a separation, having additional wives offers a fallback plan. This perspective comes as a response to Israel DMW’s recent revelations about the difficulties in his marriage to Sheila Courage.
Israel had previously celebrated marrying a virgin at 21 but later shared insights into the struggles within his marriage. Sheila, on her part, addressed the public, detailing instances of alleged physical and emotional abuse and accusations of intentional avoidance of pregnancy. The rift became public when Sheila removed all traces of Israel from her Instagram in August 2023.
