A Nigerian man known as Killaboi has become a wanted fugitive as the Nigerian Police Force intensifies its search for him in connection with the murder of his 21-year-old girlfriend, Augusta Osedion.
The Lagos State Police Command officially declared Killaboi as a wanted suspect in an announcement posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday, October 10.
Killaboi, aged 26, had previously claimed in July that he “mistakenly” stabbed his girlfriend during a heated argument. He acknowledged fleeing out of fear and admitted to feeling suicidal in the aftermath of the incident.
The police statement reads, “The Lagos State Police Command hereby declares Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo wanted. Nnanyereugo is a suspect in the murder of his girlfriend, 21-year-old Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion, which occurred on July 13, 2023, at his residence in Oral Estate, Ajah.”
“After exhausting all available avenues to apprehend him, he is now officially declared a wanted individual.”
The suspect, aged 26, stands at approximately 5’9 ft tall, hails from Abia State, and possesses a dark complexion. He is fluent in English, Igbo, and Pidgin English.
Despite efforts made by the Lagos State Police Command, with spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin providing updates, the self-proclaimed blockchain developer and crypto enthusiast has managed to evade capture since the incident.
