Oladips’ Resurrection: Aide Clarifies Misinterpretation

-

In an exclusive revelation, Abdulrasheed Opeyemi, the personal assistant of Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, clarified that the rapper was mistakenly declared dead by his management. According to Abdulrasheed, Oladips “died for three days before he came back to life.”

Earlier reports on November 14 had indicated Oladips’ demise after a two-year battle with an undisclosed ailment. A statement from his management announced the sad news, expressing shock over the rapper’s passing.

In an interview with PUNCH Online, Abdulrasheed explained the misunderstanding, revealing that the manager, who had access to Oladips’ social media, misinterpreted the situation. The initial announcement stated that Oladips had kept his health struggles private for over two years, and his body was with the family.

Abdulrasheed clarified that Oladips was revived after three days of appearing lifeless, and the manager had already shared the news by that time. The rapper spent the three days with his family during this critical period.

Addressing the aftermath, Abdulrasheed disclosed that the manager responsible for the premature announcement has been dismissed. He assured that Oladips would soon address the public about the entire incident.

Oladips, known for hits like “Chache,” established his label, Dipsciples Music, after parting ways with LRR/Edge Records in 2019, owned by Nigerian rapper Reminisce.
