Enyimba’s technical adviser, Olanrewaju Yemi, has praised El-Kanemi Warriors, calling them a solid team. The People’s Elephant lost 1-0 to El-Kanemi in the matchday eight clash held on Sunday at the El-Kanemi Stadium, Maiduguri.
Abbas Usman scored the lone goal, securing the win for the Warriors.
Yemi attributed his team’s loss to fatigue.
“It was a good game. They’re a solid side, and we knew they would give us a tough match,” Yemi said in a post-match interview.
“In the first half, we struggled due to fatigue. I think they dominated the first half, but we took control in the second. We created the first big chance, even though we didn’t score. Overall, it was a good game and great for the NPFL.”
